How to get to the CLIPP Laser Center?
Located at the very heart of Paris, the CLIPP is 5 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower and has a very central location, with good and practical traffic connection with public transfer in Paris and its suburbs.

Who are our Doctors? Which medical specialties do they have?
The most part of our Doctors are dermatologists, whereas some others are aesthetic doctors, acknowledged certified experts in the field of Aesthetic Lasers. (Not to mention that all our doctors are registered at the « Conseil de l’Ordre », the highest court for doctors in France, responsible for the application of the deontological code of Medicine).
Some Dermatologists are also specialized in « Ethnic skins » which is pretty unique in France, in the name of Doctor Marie Jourdan for example, who opened the very first « Ethnic skins » Dermatological laser consultation in France.

In addition, to broaden their expertise and skills, all our doctors regularly attend trainings provided by Doctor/Professor Jean-Michel Mazer, renowned Laser Dermatologist for more than 20 years, and present Director at the CLIPP – Paris.
Why isn't there any prices indicated for most treatments on the website ?
The CLIPP Laser Center is first and foremost a Medical Center, and we built our reputation on the high quality treatments that we deliver, along with top of the range techniques that totally differentiates us from an Institute for example.
Those treatments are only performed by Doctors, except for the Exilis, for which a certified Medical Assistant performs the treatment, following the Doctor’s indications.

We do our very best to indicate treatment costs, or at least, a close estimate; Indeed, a prior examination with a doctor is important to determinate a treatment protocol and a clear and precise Medical estimate. The latter one depends on the treatment duration, the Laser/technique used, the size of the surface to treat…
Can I have sun exposure after a Laser therapy?
Generally, most Laser acts imply a specific attention following the treatment: sun exposure must be ordinarily avoided.
Should you have the slightest doubt, feel free to ask directly to your doctor at the CLIPP or anyone from our medical staff. We care for you, and always wish to surround yourself with the best medical care and precautions. The prior consultation is absolutely necessary to advise you on these specific questions.
I’ve already had Laser therapy; can I get along at the CLIPP - Paris?
Yes, it is indeed possible and depends on the CLIPP’s doctor’s opinion (that will anyway have to see you) before any type of Laser therapy. Laser treatment sessions can then be scheduled, as it can potentially be the same day, if it’s the patient’s request and if he gives his agreement. The Doctor’s would also have to be available, as well as the laser / medical device
I live far away, can I do without the medical consultation and directly proceed to a laser treatment or another medical or aesthetic act?

Many of the CLIPP’s patients come and see us from all parts of France, even from abroad and we try our best to facilitate your stay and the treatments provided. Therefore, during your first appointment request with our medical secretaries, feel free to precise us that you want -as far as possible- to receive the treatment on the same day as the medical consultation.
According to the law and our deontology, our doctors can refuse to treat you on the same day, especially in the case of medical objections / contraindications.
I have some concerns, following my medical treatment, what should I do?
Our physicians spend a lot of time to prepare the patients for the treatments, and are mostly available by mail or on the phone, via their medical assistants.

Nevertheless, if you have any interrogation or any concern about your treatment session, ask our Medical Staff at the CLIPP or on the phone (01 44 42 92 55) so that we can notify it to your doctor and plan a visit.

Do I always have to do a medical consultation, even with a doctor’s referral?
A laser therapy is a medical act. «Even for Laser depilation» which is a widespread technique, and therefore necessitate a medical consultation.
Justifying a 70€ consulting fee, this consultation is an obligation by the law, and enables to exclude any contraindications, to establish a clear treatment protocol, and also to determine with the patient, a clear medical estimate. The patient will get all the necessary answers during this approximately 30 minutes appointment.
Can I apply an anaesthetic cream myself before treatment?
You should only proceed as your doctor’s advices. You can only do it if the Doctor’s given you a prescription. Indeed, some creams can induce a different treatment reaction, so this is important. If you have any questions, just call us! One number : 01 44 42 92 55.
Is the CLIPP Laser Center equipped with pain-reduction devices for better treatment comfort?
Apart form anaesthetic devices, which are integrated to most of our lasers and medical techniques at the CLIPP (radiofrequencies for example), various anaesthetic possibilities can be proposed to our patients. Some of them can be given at our Clinique, whereas for some other, the Doctor will give a prescription.

Also, the possibility to benefit from Kalinox (Nitrogen oxide) which is highly effective and does not last after the treatment, providing better treatment comfort.

If you do not have the possibility to attend your appointment, please call us whenever you have the opportunity. We would re-schedule an appointment, or, if appropriate, offer another patient to schedule an appointment. Please note that some of our physicians have an average of four months waiting period to schedule an appointment.
